The auction brings together a selection of ceramics from across the Earthworks membership, offering a glimpse into the breadth of practices developing within our studio — from functional pottery to sculptural and experimental work.

Whether you’re a regular collector, looking for a unique Christmas gift, or simply curious about the artists making work at Earthworks, the auction is a chance to discover something new and support emerging ceramic artists and makers.

Supporting the ceramics community

The Members’ Auction also helps us support the wider ceramics community. 20% of auction proceeds will be donated to FiredUp4, a charity supporting young potters in disadvantaged areas of the UK. The remaining funds will be reinvested into Earthworks’ programme of markets, exhibitions and events — helping us continue to bring more artists and collectors together, and supporting our participation in London Craft Week in May 2027.

How the auction works

The auction will take place online through Jumblebee and opens on Saturday 7 November. The auction format will be a  traditional auction with a reserve price. Full bidding information, including details of each artwork, starting bids and collection arrangements, will be available when the auction opens.
