FAQ'S

1. Do I need any prior experience to attend your classes? Not at all! Our classes are designed for all skill levels, whether you're a complete beginner or have some experience with ceramics.

2. What should I wear to a class? We recommend wearing comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting a little messy. We provide aprons, but clay can still find its way onto your outfit!

3. Can I take my finished pieces home?
Absolutely! All the pieces you create in our classes will be fired and glazed. This process typically takes about 4-5 weeks. Once they’re ready, you can collect your finished ceramics from the studio.

Please note, sometimes our collection emails can end up in junk or promotion folders or may not be delivered. If you haven’t heard from us within 5 weeks, feel free to reach out and double-check!

4. How long are the classes, and what do they include? Our classes typically run for 90 minutes - 3 hours, depending on the session type. They include all materials, tools, and guidance from our expert instructors.

5. Can I book a private event or group class? Absolutely! We offer private classes for special occasions like birthdays, team-building events, or hen parties. Contact us to discuss availability and options.

6. Is there parking available near the studio? Yes, there’s limited parking nearby. We recommend public transport whenever possible as we’re well-connected by local bus and train services.

7. Do you offer memberships or open studio access? Yes! We have memberships for those looking to work independently on their projects. Members have access to our facilities during open hours and can book additional firing services.

8. What happens if I miss a class? For most of our 6 week courses, we try to accommodate a make-up session during your 6 weeks, subject to availability. Let us know as soon as possible if you can’t attend a scheduled class.

9. Can I bring my own clay or tools? We provide everything you need for our classes, but if you have specific materials or tools you’d like to use, then you are more than welcome to bring them.

10. How do I book a class or course? Booking is easy through our website. For any special requests or group bookings, feel free to email us directly.

11. Can children join the classes? Our classes are suitable for kids aged 8 and up, everyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

12. What should I do if I have long nails? Long nails can make working with clay a bit tricky, but it’s not impossible! We’ll show you techniques to work around them, so don’t worry.

13. What if I want to glaze my own pieces? For some classes, glazing is included. If you’d like to return for a dedicated glazing session, we offer separate workshops just for that!

14. Can I buy gift vouchers? Yes! Gift vouchers are available and make a perfect present for pottery lovers. You can purchase them online or in the studio.

15. What is your cancellation policy? Cancellations made 14 days in advance are eligible for a refund minus a £10 booking fee or reschedule. 7 Days before the start is a 50% refund.  For last-minute changes, we’ll do our best to accommodate but can’t guarantee a refund.

16. Can I eat or drink in the studio? We encourage bringing a bottle of water, but due to the nature of the space, food is best enjoyed outside the studio. For BYOB or Private sessions, feel free to bring a few drinks from our friends at London Beer Lab - the second arch down the lane.
