Intro to Throwing (Wheel-Focused)
A focused 6-week beginner’s course dedicated to learning on the wheel. You’ll be guided through foundational throwing techniques—centering, forming, trimming—and work on creating your own vessels and forms. Perfect for those ready to get muddy and spin.


Wednesdays | 6:30 – 9:00 PMIntro to Ceramics: Handbuilding & Throwing
This 6-week course is ideal for complete beginners who want a well-rounded introduction to clay. You'll explore handbuilding techniques like coiling, pinching, and slab building, before spending two sessions on the wheel learning the basics of throwing and turning. A great option if you're curious about both approaches.


Saturdays & Sundays | 5:30 – 8:00 PM (New!)

Intro to Throwing (Weekend Option)
Can’t make weekday evenings? Our weekend throwing sessions offer the same beginner-friendly format with extra flexibility. A great way to unwind and learn something new.

Whether you're drawn to handbuilding or eager to dive straight into throwing, our evening courses offer two great starting points for beginners.


What’s Included
Clay: All materials provided. Fire only your favourite pieces (max. 25cm height/width).
Glazing: Use of studio glazes is included.
Tools: All provided—just bring your ideas!Details
Schedule: Weekly 2.5-hour sessions (includes 15-min cleanup)
Collection: Finished pieces ready approx. 5 weeks after the course. Pickup only (no shipping)What to BringWear comfy clothes you don’t mind getting messy. Short nails and tied-back hair will make your time at the wheel much easier. Missed a Class?Life happens! You can book a makeup session during your course (subject to availability). Glazing sessions can’t be rescheduled, but we’ll glaze your pieces in your chosen colours if you miss it.
