You’ll create functional or sculptural projects while learning core skills and developing confidence in clay.

12 Weeks (Focus on Throwing)
Break weeks: 22 & 29 OctoberDesigned for those with some previous experience, this course allows you to deepen your skills—particularly in throwing—while incorporating more advanced handbuilding where relevant. You’ll work more independently on personal projects with tailored support to refine your technique and explore new forms.
Course Format & What's Included
Each course runs as a self-directed 2.5-hour weekly session, guided by our experienced instructors. Whether you're learning from scratch or returning to refine your skills, we offer a nurturing, hands-on environment.
Included:
Clay: All materials included. Fire only your favourite pieces (max. 25cm in height/width).
Glazing: Choose from a selection of studio glazes to finish your work.
Tools: Provided in-studio—just bring your creativity!Small class sizes ensure personalised instruction and guidance.Each course ends with a dedicated glazing session and a chance to reflect on your progress and set intentions for future making.Other Info
Collection: Finished pieces will be ready ~5 weeks after the course ends. Collection only—no shipping.
What to Bring: Clothes you don’t mind getting messy, an apron (we have spares), short nails, and tied-back hair.
Missed a class? A makeup session is available during your course (subject to availability). Glazing sessions cannot be rescheduled, but we’ll glaze your work for you in your chosen colours if needed.
