Join our 6-week evening throwing course tailored for beginners and intermediates, where you'll delve into the art of the potter’s wheel. Each weekly session, spanning 2.5 hours, promises a journey guided by our passionate instructors, eager to share their expertise and inspire your creativity.

Throughout the course, you'll be able to explore diverse forms and refine your skills, delving deeper into wheel throwing techniques with each session. Our supportive environment encourages experimentation, allowing your technique - based skills to develop and your imagination to flourish. As your confidence grows week by week, you'll find joy and fulfilment in the tactile experience of working with clay.

Whether you're a novice or looking to advance your skills, our throwing course provides a welcoming space for exploration, creation, and connection with fellow enthusiasts. With a maximum of 8 participants per course, our small class sizes allow for plenty of 1-one-1 tuition between teachers and students. For our returning students, the taught curriculum expands to dive deeper into the throwing process, enabling more technically challenging personal projects. With class repetition, individuals steadily advance, preparing them for a seamless transition into membership at a ceramic studio if they so wish.

Please arrive promptly. Finished pieces must be picked up from Earthworks studio within 3 months of the class.  All children under 18's must be accompanied by an adult.
