Dive into pottery with our 6-week self-directed course, perfect for beginners and improvers focued on Throwing and Turning techniques . In weekly 2.5-hour sessions, you’ll explore projects of your choice while learning essential techniques such as centering and forming vessels in various shapes and sizes. Our experienced instructors will guide you to develop confidence and creativity.
Small classes (max. 8 participants) ensure personalised instruction. Each course concludes with a reflective glazing session, celebrating your progress and offering feedback for your future pottery journey. Returning students can further specialise, focusing on personal projects and honing improving skills.
What’s Included
Clay: All materials provided. Fire only your cherished pieces, with guidelines (max. 25cm height/width).
Glazing: Access to studio glazes for the perfect finish, included in the course fee.
Tools: Provided at the studio—just bring your creativity!

Location: Arch 45, Nursery Road, Brixton, London, SW9 8BP
Schedule: Weekly 2.5-hour sessions (includes 15-min cleanup).
Class Size: Up to 8 participants for one-on-one attention.
Collection: Finished pieces ready ~ 5 weeks after the course ends. Pickup only (no shipping). 
What to Bring
Wear comfortable clothes that can get messy and bring an apron if possible (we have spares). Short nails and tied-back hair make working with clay easier.
Missed a Class?
We understand life happens! You can book a makeup session during the 6-week period (subject to availability). The final glazing session cannot be rescheduled, but we’ll glaze your pieces in your chosen colors if you miss it.
Cancellation Policy
10+ days’ notice: Full refund minus a £5 fee or transfer to another course.
5–10 days prior: 50% refund minus a £5 fee.
Less than 5 days: No refunds.
